However, as we grow and future artists take centre stage, the general lack in financial education and planning, limits long term sustainability. Many artist simply make enough to survive, let alone plan for the future. Even more scary, if something happens, there is often not enough financial resources to cover emergencies, medical costs and funeral or burial costs. The purpose of this initiative is to solve for this. Other than provide ongoing financial education and guidance, we want to work with stakeholders to develop insurance solutions that can serve artists in South Africa.
This includes mechanism to cover costs of essential financial support when the artist is unable to pay premium
